Digital audio books: The fast way to learn something

Friday, November 9th, 2007

Digital audiobooks are ebooks that can be downloaded from the Internet, and listened to afterwards. Although their size is usually in megabytes, they can easily fit into any of today’s modern flash gadgets, with their gigabyte disk capacities. So, they are relatively small and very portable - once downloaded onto a suitable medium.

The people most likely to benefit from digital audiobooks are those who are not really inclined to learn via visual mode. They would rather listen to a book being read out aloud to them, while they engage in other activities like driving, or washing the dishes, or prior to sleep.

Digital audiobooks are usually recorded in mp3 format, which compresses the sound, allowing for small, manageable sizes. Realizing the potential of audio, many e-learning websites now provide audiofiles for easy downloading by their registered members. Audio files are definitely smaller than video files, thus they are perfectly suited for online learning or motivational courses. For further info, check out this page on digital audiobooks.

Whether the claim that ‘it is a Leading Global Provider of Innovative Microprocessor and Graphics solutions’ by AMD (Advanced Micro Devices) on its website is a question of debate particularly in the absence of acts and figures to support its claim. However ever since AMD based in Sunnyvale, California was founded in 1969, its core businesses has been to provide microprocessor and graphics and media solutions for the computer, communications, and consumer electronics industries. Today with corporate locations at Austin, Texas; and Markham, Ontario, 16,500 employees spread across 80 locations and manufacturing facilities in the U.S., Europe and Asia, AMD’s success seems to be driven by what it calls “customer-centric innovation,” its guiding principle. AMD claims that it has shipped more than 240 million Amd Athlon Processors worldwide. More informaton on amd at amd processor review. Its processors undergo extensive testing to help ensure compatibility with Microsoft Windows XP, Vista, Windows NT, Windows 2000, as well as Linux and other PC operating systems and also conduct rigorous research, development, and validation to help ensure the continued integrity and performance of its products.

Why Companies Give Out Free Camera Cell Phones

Tuesday, October 9th, 2007

Some companies will not only give their customers free camera cell phones, they will also offer rebates which are not to be sniffed at. They are often over twenty dollars and can be as much as one hundred dollars. Many customers are over the moon about this as they are getting a free camera cell phone and some money as well…. that is until the monthly bills start landing through the letter box.

Here’s another reason companies sometimes give you free camera cell phones. They give you a rebate immediately and ask you to charget the phone itself to your credit card. If that transaction goes through successfully it stands to reason that your credit is probably in good enough standing to meet their monthly bills. Of course, they don’t inform you of this ‘angle’ at the time.
