Why Certificated?

Monday, July 28th, 2008

Most people I talk with think that I have gone through all the trouble to get certified just for the money. Initially that was one of the primary forces in my decision to get my Mcse Certification. On this side looking back I see there is a lot more too it than that. I have a certificate that validates that I have the knowledge and skills needed to be a systems engineer. Having done the work to get it I now have the self confidence to take on my new job assignments. I know that I will not let my boss or my team down.

Everybody Wanted A Real Estate License

Monday, July 28th, 2008

The year I got my license seemed to be the year that everyone wanted to get their real estate license reciprocity. The agency that issued licenses said they had never seen numbers like that. The real estate market was booming in our area and people wanted in on it so it seemed everyone was getting their licenses. Over the next year or two it became harder and harder to get any listings because there were so many agents out there. However, with time and patients it seemed that those who stuck with it were the ones who really wanted to be in real estate.

Researching Medical Student Loans

Sunday, July 27th, 2008

Medical school is shockingly expensive these days. Researching
Medical Student Loans is a depressing process at best.
From what I’ve learned about
Medical Residency Loans, the process basically boils down to taking on a staggering debt load. It’s a truly discouraging prospect.

Long hours, heavy debts, decreased pay - the medical profession is not the opportunity it once was, that is for sure.
Until next time.

Learning About Retirement Loans

Sunday, July 27th, 2008

I really need to learn more about
Retirement Loans. I’ve had a hard time with the learning process, though.
I’ve found just about all there is to find online about Annuity Lead Sales, I think, and I’m still confused. It’s tough to make the right choice.
It’s tough to know whether to borrow against my annuity, sell it outright, or just keep things as they are. I could certainly use some liquidity right now, but is that a good long-term choice? Who can say?
Hopefully I’ll make the right decision. I’m going to have to make up my mind at some point.
Alright - that’s all for now.

A great bargain

Saturday, July 26th, 2008

I was hunting for a greenhouse a few months ago and is part of it I decided to go on the Internet. While I was surfing various sites I came across a website that was advertising greenhouses for sale at fairly cheap prices. I did not wait to look any farther and simply ordered the greenhouse as soon as I possibly could. It arrived within three days, and now I have built it in my garden and I’m really proud of what I did.

It Gets Rid Of The Odor.

Friday, July 25th, 2008

I love animals so much they are like children to me. I have three dogs, two cats, a bird and a ferret named Bob. So needless to say my house can get pretty stinky and even though I love them all very much I don’t love the smell, or the comments I get on it from guests. I had tried all kinds of incense sprays and sticks and nothing ever worked. That is until I got some indoor air purifiers. They completely get rid of the odor and now when people come over they are amazed at the difference and I no longer feel embarrassed about it.

Michigan Residents Can Receive Up To $10,000 From Tax Shelter Annuity

Friday, July 25th, 2008

The annual tax shelter annuity benefit is available for parents and grandparents who are taxpayers in Michigan and who make contributions to the section 529 plan on behalf of their child or grandchild. Michigan taxpayers receive a $5,000 deduction if they file as single or head of household; married joint filers can receive $10,000. You must be a Michigan resident to receive the deduction. The federal amount is $12,000 (or $24,000 for married joint filers) per year, per child. Simply stated, you can contribute up to $12,000 without incurring a federal gift tax. Any amount exceeding the 529 gift tax exclusion limit is considered a taxable gift and must be reported on your federal gift tax return.
