A Clean Record will Help When Applying for Naturalisation
Wednesday, April 29th, 2009If you are approved for citizenship after applying for naturalisation, you will now be asked to come in and take the oath and pledge your allegiance to the United States of America. If there is a question on your form, you will be placed on a continuation status until the matter can be resolved. There is a possibility that your application may be denied. There are many reasons for this such as not being truthful on the information you filled out or not living in the country for the appropriate amount of time. If these issues can be cleared up, you will be allowed to reapply to citizenship at a later date decided upon by the department of naturalisation. If the department has just reason for their denial, you may be required to permanently leave the country. These issues may include legal problems occurring either inside the US, or in their mother country. If these issues can be resolved, there is a chance that you will be allowed to enter back into the United States again.
