Shopping for Vertical Blinds

July 26th, 2009

Today I went shopping for window treatments for my new living room and bedrooms.  I want something homey yet contemporary, easy care and protective.  It gets really cold here in the North, so the windows need insulation to protect from the cold air; but the flip side is the reflected sun off the snow–and the midnight sun for the three months of summer!  So I went in knowing I wanted some sort of Fabric Vertical Blinds, and started off looking at insulated vertical blinds, designer vertical blinds, cloth vertical blinds, soft vertical blinds, uv protected blinds, custom fabric blinds and honeycomb horizontals. Still not sure which one I’ll get, but I have a better idea of what’s available now.

Nora Rubber Flooring

July 26th, 2009

When I came to redesign my kitchen last year one of the biggest decisions that I had to make was what type of flooring to put down, and it was only after talking to a friend I decided that I would install Nora rubber flooring. I decided to hire a professional contractor to do it for me, and he made such a great job that I have recommended to say this is to several of my friends. It really does pay to get the highest quality possible.

Find Out How You Can Actually Start Making Money By Installing Solar Panels

July 15th, 2009

You know how they say that you’ve got to spend money to make money?  Well, the same thing could be said for installing solar panels for your home, except that I guess it would be more like, you’ve got to spend money to save money.  No one ever said that making your home self sufficient when it comes to energy was going to be cheap, but thanks to all of the tax breaks, and incentives that you can get from both your state and the government, you will find that your solar powered home can pay itself off pretty quickly, which means you’ll actually be “making money” in a sense once it’s paid for itself.

Discount Faux Wood Blinds Help Stop Deforestation

July 9th, 2009

Modern materials are getting to be much higher quality these days for less of a cost. In the case of discount faux wood blinds you have the advantage of knowing that you’re not adding to deforestation either. I’m not sure of the environmental impact of the process that produces cheap faux wood blinds and what sort of pollution and carbon footprint is involved, but at least I know that one problem isn’t created. It seems so hard to take into account everything when purchasing products these days and I hope that businesses find a way to be both profitable and responsible.

I can’t even imagine ever paying off that much debt, but there’s not much choice for me.

The prospect of paying off all that debt is staggering, but there’s nothing for it.

Get Quality Sound From Any Music Device Over Your Car Stereo With Irock

June 21st, 2009

As near as I can tell, the Irock FM Transmitter is easily one of the easiest and simplest devices to use that will allow you to listen to virtually anything from any format device as long as it has a headphone jack.  That being said, I want to recommend to you, that should you have any desire to listen to say, your mp3 music from any device, from your laptop to your PDA, that you simply need this particular transmitter, and you’ll be set to go.  While there are plenty of these kinds of devices out there that are just as easy to use, what they lack, and what the Irock delivers, is quality sound, so don’t bother with the other ones.
