5 STRANGERS FIND OUT THEY’RE DWAYNE JOHNSON’S HALF-SIBLINGS

DNA tests revealed that five strangers in Canada are the half-siblings of

Hollywood actor Dwayne Johnson.

The five strangers, Lisa Purves, Paula Parsons, Trevor Edwards, Adrian

Bowles and Aaron Fowler arranged to meet one another after they

discovered that the late Canadian wrestler, Rocky Johnson, was their dad.

This means the former wrestler and now Hollywood’s highest-grossing

actor is their half-brother.

The group spoke to Sports Illustrated magazine saying they never had a

relationship with their dad because some of them never met him. Rocky

Johnson died in 2020.

They only found out about their connection when they got their DNA results

back and that was due to one of the siblings, Lisa Purves.

Purves wanted to make a documentary about absent parents when

someone suggested she make the documentary about herself.

The 53-year-old said that she was “embarrassed that my father didn’t want

me”.

She decided to stay in Canada and not pursue a career in the United

States, because she wanted to avoid bumping into her famous half-sibling

since they’re in the same industry.

“I never wanted to run into Dwayne and have anyone know I was his

bastard sister.”

Purves said she spoke to their dad a few times over the phone, but that

they never met. It’s unclear whether Dwayne is aware of his five half-

siblings and whether he has contacted them.
