BRIAN LAUNDRIE’S NOTEBOOK SHARES CONFESSION OF KILLING GABBY PETITO
After much deliberation, it has been revealed that Brian Laundrie indeed killed Gabby Petito before he committed suicide.
A lawyer for the Laundrie family released the contents of Brian’s notebook that was found near his body.
Laundrie and Petito gained social media prominence after they shared their road trip with Petito’s followers on Instagram.
Soon after the couple started their road trip, Petito’s body was found in Wyoming. Days before that Laundrie arrived home after reporting Petito has gone missing.
It was later determined by a coroner that Petito was killed by strangulation.
In the notebook, Laundrie confessed to the killing.
“I thought it was merciful, that it was what she wanted, but I see now all the mistakes I made. I panicked. I was in shock.”
He claimed that Petito was injured and that she was “begging for an end to her pain”. He then committed suicide saying “from the moment I decided, took away her pain, I knew I couldn’t go on without her”.
It has since been revealed that Petito’s family has brought a civil suit against the Laundrie family. They’re seeking $30 000 in damages for mental anguish.
