ADELE’S ONE CONDITION BEFORE BUYING SYLVESTER STALLONE’S HOUSE
When singer Adele decided to buy actor Sylvester Stallone’s house, she had one condition. If he went against this condition, Adele said the deal is off.
The condition? Adele insisted on keeping the Rocky statue next to the pool. Stallone wasn’t allowed to take it with him.
The Rocky actor told the Wall Street Journal that when the singer bought his Beverly Hills mansion in 2022, it was the one condition that would make or break the deal.
When the Wall Street Journal asked him if he wanted to keep the statue, he answered:
“I did. But she said, ‘That’s a no deal. That’s gonna blow the whole deal. She wanted the statue.”
Adele is reportedly gutting the inside of the house and doing a total revamp, something Stallone is pleased about.
“I like what she’s doing; she’s making it gorgeous.”
Stallone sold the house to Adele for $58 million. That’s a big discount from the original asking price of $110 million.
Forbes reports that the home is located within Beverly park, an exclusive area in the mountains of Beverly Hill known for attracting privacy-seeking celebrities.
The home belonged to Stallone where he lived with his soon-to-be ex-wife Jennifer Flavin and their three daughters.
Other residents in the neighbourhood, past and present, include Mark Wahlberg, Justin and Hailey Bieber, and Denzel Washington.
