BENEDICT CUMBERBATCH’S HOME ATTACKED BY FORMER CHEF
Benedict Cumberbatch’s former personal chef was fined 250 pounds after he was found guilty of attacking and damaging the actor’s home.
Jack Bissell kicked down the home’s garden gate while the actor, his wife and three children were at home.
The 35-year-old then yelled: “I know you’ve moved here, I hope it burns down.”
Earlier this month, the Wood Green Crown Court heard how Bissell uprooted a garden plant and threw it at a wall. He spat on the actor’s intercom and then used a fish knife to dislodge it.
Bissell then fled the scene but his DNA was found on the intercom.
After he was found guilty, the former Mayfair hotel chef was also given a three-year restraining order preventing him from going near Cumberbatch’s family and the North London area where they live in.
This isn’t the first time Bissell has been found guilty of a criminal offence.
The BBC reports that he has a previous conviction for theft, three warnings for offences against property, a public order offence and a drug offence. In 2015, he was photographed being arrested during protests against military intervention in Syria in central London.
