APPLE TO DEBUT ITS IPHONE 15 TODAY
It’s time for Apple’s annual September keynote event and this year looks like it could also be the debut of the tech giant’s 1Phone 15.
The press event has been promoted under the tagline “wonderlust” and will take place in Cupertino in the US state of California where the company’s is headquartered.
The biggest change expected is the USB-C charger for the first time. Apple was forced to streamline its charging process across all devices to adhere to new European tech laws.
Many believe the company will have to bring it all to the table if they want to increase sales.
Besides the big change in chargers, users can also expect to get the “Dynamic Island” feature. CNN reports that it’s an interactive home for alerts, notifications and various controls that replaces the notch on the top of the screen. The tool launched on the higher-end iPhone 14 Pro models last year.
Other new features include a Vision Pro update, new Airpods, Apple Watches and software release dates.
If rumours are to be believed, you won’t be able to get a new iPad or Mac until October and don’t hold your breath for a foldable device just yet.
