JOE JONAS AND SOPHIE TURNER HEADING FOR DIVORCE
Actress Sophie Turner and her husband singer Joe Jonas have announced their divorce.
Jonas filed for divorce in Florida’s Miami-Dade County Court.
In a joint statement, the couple said the divorce is a mutual agreement.
“After four wonderful years of marriage we have mutually decided to amicably end our marriage. There are many speculative narratives as to why but, truly this is a united decision.”
In the filed papers at the court, it stated that “the marriage between the parties is irretrievably broken”.
The couple added in their statement that they “sincerely hope everyone can respect our wishes for privacy for us and our children”.
The celeb couple have been married for four years and have two children together. Daughter Willa was born in 2020 and in another daughter was born in 2022 but her name has never been announced to the media.
Jonas is part of the hugely successful band Jonas Brothers along with his two brothers Nick and Kevin. Turner is an actress known for her role in the popular TV series Game Of Thrones.
