MCDONALD’S ADULT HAPPY MEALS NOW AVAILABLE

Thanks to McDonald’s there are now a bunch of very happy adults in the United States. Not only because they get to eat fast food, but because you can now order an adult Happy Meal and it comes with a toy.

The company joined forces with Cactus Plant Flea Market, a streetwear brand, and introduced the Cactus Plant Flea Market Box.

In a statement, McDonald’s explained the thinking behind the box.

“Everyone remembers their first Happy Meal as a kid… and the can’t sit still feeling as you dug in to see what was inside. That little red box could turn a regular Tuesday into the best day ever. And now, we’re reimagining that experience in a whole new way – this time, for adults.”

The limited edition adult Happy Meal has two different versions: Fries, a drink and then the choice of either a Big Mac or 10-piece nuggets. With the meal comes a toy of either Grimace, Hamburglar, Birdie or Cactus Buddy.

What makes these toys different to the usual kids’ toys? Their faces are distorted. Something that would probably scare the kids anyway.

There is also a range of merchandise available to buy including hoodies, T-shirts and sweatshirts.

The adult Happy Meal is only available in the United States.
