BOOK BARBIE’S MALIBU DREAMHOUSE ON AIRBNB

When Barbie’s away… Ken is hosting.

As part of the lead-up to the new Barbie live-action movie, Airbnb is painting Malibu pink.

Fans of Barbie can book a “one-of-a-kind experience this July at the life-sized, toy-inspired mansion”.

On 17 July those hoping to spend a night in Barbie’s Malibu DreamHouse can request to book Ken’s room in the house. The booking must take place through Airbnb since that’s where the house is listed.

Airbnb is offering two individual one-night stays for up to two guests.

Everyone who has requested to spend a night at the DreamHouse will go into a lucky draw where the selected winners will get the chance to stay at the pink mansion on 21 and 22 July. The stay will be free of charge.

On its website, Airbnb describes the listing as a life-size toy pink mansion where Ken will be hosting the lucky guests:

“Welcome to my Kendom! While Barbie is away, she has handed over the keys to her Malibu DreamHouse this summer, and my room could be yours for the night. I’ve added a few touches to bring some much-needed Kenergy to the newly renovated and iconic Malibu DreamHouse. Placed perfectly above the beach with panoramic views, this life-size toy pink mansion is a dream come true!”

The movie starring Margot Robbie as Barbie and Ryan Gosling as Ken will be released on 20 July.
