COUPLE GETS MARRIED IN KRISPY KREME SHOP

A Krispy Kreme shop in Auckland, New Zealand ran a wedding promotion. It changed the lives of one lucky couple forever.

Emma and Kurt Te Amo met online during the pandemic in 2020. They started chatting and soon became best friends. When they decided to meet in person soon after, their friendship turned into a blossoming romance.

When the couple, both 33-years-old, decided to get married, they knew that they would have to do some careful planning because money is tight.

Luckily, they saw that a local Krispy Kreme shop ran a promotion where the main prize was a wedding in their shop, all paid for.

Emma and Kurt entered and were shocked when they won.

“We were so shocked when we got the phone call to say we had won! Until then, we really wanted to be married but we didn’t have the means.”

The shop hosted the happy couple’s wedding and they were joined by their family and friends. Emma’s daughter was also there to celebrate.

“We feel quite honoured we can share our story with the nation and show people that it doesn’t matter which side of diversity you’re on, or if you’re differently able or able-bodied. Love comes in all forms, shapes, and sizes, and if you find love, anything is possible.”
