JIMMY FALLON PRANKS THE VOICE JUDGES
TV host Jimmy Fallon has pranked the judges of the popular talent show The Voice.
Pretending to be a singer competing for a spot, the comedian sang I keep Forgettin’ by Michael McDonald as part of the show’s blind auditions.
During the opening video, host Carson Daly said it’s an artist preparing for the biggest performance of their entire life.
The 48-year-old’s performance managed to impress three of the four judges.
Kelly Clarkson and Niall Horan turned around first and burst out laughing when they realised who the artist was.
Following in their footsteps, Chance The Rapper then turned around. He screamed when he saw who the singer on stage was.
The fourth judge, country artist Blake Shelton wasn’t having it and refused to turn around, thereby showing he doesn’t give his vote for the singer.
Fallon then went to Shelton’s chair and pressed the button on his behalf. Shelton realised who the singer was and burst out laughing.
Later, Fallon announced that he was there as part of a short surprise farewell performance for Shelton who announced that he will be leaving the show after this season.
Shelton has participated as a judge for 23 continuous series.
