MAN VISITS DISNEYLAND EVERY DAY FOR 8 YEARS
Jeff Reitz is so much more than just your average Disney-loving man. He’s just been awarded a Guinness World Record for the most consecutive visits to the Disneyland theme park.
In eight years, three months and 13 days, Reitz visited Disneyland in California, USA every single day.
It all started back in 2011 when he and his friends noticed an “extra Disney Day” ad. The idea behind the ad was to advertise the event to be held on 29 February because it was a leap year.
Reitz and his friends were unemployed at the time so visiting Disneyland, the happiest place on earth, was a great way to get their minds off being unemployed while still being able to go job hunting in the mornings. A bonus is all the exercise they did thanks to walking around.
After visiting Disneyland for 366 consecutive days, his friends stopped. Reitz kept going.
His family bought him his first annual pass but when he got a job he started buying his own passes every year.
When the pandemic hit, Reitz had to stop going when the park closed. It was on Friday 13 March 2020 and he was five days away from reaching 3,000 visits.
Reitz hasn’t been back since and doesn’t have any plans to reach the 3,000 mark soon.
