Justin Bieber’s team has announced in a press statement that he will be performing two shows in South Africa in 2022 as part of his first concert tour since his Purpose World tour in 2016/2017.

“Taking place from May 2022 through to March 2023, Bieber will tour five continents, travelling to over 20 countries and playing more than 90 dates, with more shows to be announced in Asia and the Middle East very soon.”

The statement also revealed that the international leg of the world tour will kick off in Mexico in May 2022. From there on the Canadian will travel to perform in Scandinavia in August, followed by South America, South Africa and the Middle East in September and October.

During November and December, he will perform in Australia and New Zealand, before hitting the UK and Europe in the early months of 2023.

The two shows that will take place in South Africa are 28 September 2022 in Cape Town at the DHL Stadium and on 1 October 2022 in Johannesburg at the FNB Stadium.
