World Wrestling Entertainment is gracing us with its presence in Cape Town, Johannesburg and Pretoria in April 2018. South Africa last saw a WWE tournament on its turf back in 2013 and, even though its one of the most dramatic sports known to man, fans across South Africa are losing their minds over watching their favorite wrestling stars live. WWE superstars such as Braun Strowman, Seth Rollins, Dean Ambrose, intercontinental champion Roman Reigns, Raw women's champion Alexa Bliss, Sasha Banks and Raw tag team champions Cesaro and Sheamus will be performing in arena's across South Africa with a surprising 2.69 million fans in South Africa anticipating the event.
The event comes as such a joyous occasion for fans after e.tv cancelled airing WWE back in September 2017. The Senior Vice President of WWE Africa promised the return of family–friendly entertainment on a whole new level, brought back to South Africa by popular demand.
Could this be the start of a booming WWE culture coming back to SA?
