AARON CARTER DIES
Childhood star and singer Aaron Carter has died. He was 34.
Aaron’s management confirmed the news that the singer was found unresponsive in a bathtub in his home in California.
At first it was reported that Aaron had drowned, but it seems as if he might have committed suicide. Vulture reports that police allegedly received a call that the singer had drowned in the tub.
Aaron’s brother is Nick Carter from the Backstreet Boys. Nick posted on Instagram that “addiction and mental illness” were to blame for Aaron’s death.
“I will miss my brother more than anyone will ever know. I love you Chizz. Now you can finally have the peace you could never find here on earth… I love you baby brother.”
Aaron released his first album at the tender age of nine followed by his second album in 2000. With his popularity rising he was the opening act for Britney Spears and the Backstreet Boys.
He starred in Lizzie McGuire and other TV series.
Aaron’s twin sister Angel also paid tribute to her brother on social media.
“To my twin… I loved you beyond measure. You will be missed dearly. My funny, sweet Aaron, I have so many memories of you… and I promise to cherish them.”
Angel added: “I know you’re at peace now. I will carry you with me until the day I die and get to see you again.”
Aaron leaves behind three siblings, two half-siblings and a step-sister. The Carters’ other sibling Leslie died of an overdose in 2012.
