DEMI MOORE A GOLDEN HIT AT THE GOLDEN GLOBES
The 82nd Golden Globe Awards took place in Los Angeles on Sunday and it was a great way to kick off a good year for Hollywood, especially for actress Demi Moore.
The 62-year-old won her first Golden Globe for her leading role in The Substance.
During her acceptance speech, Moore said she recently didn’t feel good enough for Hollywood anymore.
“A few years ago I thought that this was it, maybe I’ve done what I was supposed to do and then I had this magical bold courageous out of the box absolutely bonkers script come across my desk called The Substance and the universe told me you’re not done.”
A video has gone viral where her three daughters can be seen celebrating as Moore’s name was announced.
Other winners at the awards show include the series Baby Reindeer. The drama made for Netflix made headlines around the world last year and led to awards for Jessica Gunning (best supporting actress) and the series itself (best-limited series).
Other big winners on the night include Jeremy Allen White for The Bear; Jean Smart for Hacks; Hiroyuki Sanada for Shogun; and Anna Sawai for Shogun.
