‘FAKE BEAR’ ATTRACTS 20,000 VISITORS A DAY AFTER GOING VIRAL

Visitors to a zoo in China recorded a bear after they

believed it is a person dressed in suit.

The bear has since been identified by the zoo as Angela, a sun bear living at Hangzhou Zoo in the eastern parts of the country.

The footage was posted to a Chinese social media platform and trended over the weekend. The video shows the bear standing tall on its back feet, holding its paws by its side.

Because of its human like behaviour, visitors thought it might be a zookeeper dressed up.

Sine the video went viral, about 20,000 people have visited the zoo hoping to see Angela in action.

Videos have shown her waving at visitors and responding to greetings.

A spokesperson for the Hangzhou Zoo has confirmed that Angela is a real bear and denied any reports that it is a zookeeper dressed in a suit that doesn’t fit.
