VIENNA IS THE WORLD’S MOST LIVEABLE CITY
When reading about a list of the most liveable cities in the world, we’ve all become used to seeing the same cities on the list.
But, this year the BBC’s top 10 list of the world’s most liveable cities indicate that Australia is moving up in the ranks with two cities in the top five.
Right at the top of the list is Vienna. The Austrian city has everything you could ask for including theatres, wineries, affordable childcare, preserved history, access to cafes and reliable public transportation.
Copenhagen came in second, but the big surprise was Melbourne at number three and Sydney in the number four spot.
If you love sport, you’ll love Melbourne. The city plays host to the Australian Formula 1 Grand Prix and the popular Australian Open. Melbourne is also known for its parks and culture, not to mention the city’s famous food scene – any foodie’s dream.
Sydney offers the ultimate in sophisticated coastal living. The city offers stunning views, iconic architecture and world-class beaches with access to everyone.
With numerous parks and beaches a mere 20 minutes away from the city centre, Vancouver landed the fifth place. Navigating the city is a breeze with adequate options for anyone travelling by bus, boat, car, train or bike.
Vancouver is also known for its multicultural population with all cultures celebrated.
