RACHEL KOLISI FILES CCMA COMPLAINT
Reports are doing the rounds that Rachel Kolisi has filed a CCMA (Commission for Conciliation, Mediation, and Arbitration) complaint against The Kolisi Foundation, the charity that she co-founded with her now estranged husband Springboks captain Siya Kolisi.
Soon after the news was announced that the pair were going to get a divorce, Rachel stepped down as the CEO.
Now, Daily Maverick reports are alleging that Rachel has filed a CCMA complaint against the charity, alleging a hostile work environment.
The publication revealed that Rachel considered the dismissal procedure unfair.
According to reports, she’s seeking reinstatement or compensation and alleges that she was subjected to “constructive dismissal”.
The Kolisi Foundation was established in 2019 by Rachel and Siya Kolisi. According to the company’s website, the Foundation “was birthed through the desire to change the story of inequality”.
Other members of the Foundation’s board include Hannah Sadiki (CEO of Bivest Financial Services), Andrew Muir (CEO of Wilderness Foundation Africa), Ziyanda Ntshona (head of corporate at Poswa Incorporated), and Mahlatse Mashua (managing director of Roc Nation Sports South Africa).
Roc Nation Sports Agency is the agency representing Siya worldwide.
