TAYLOR SWIFT FEMALE ARTIST WITH MOST NO. 1 ALBUMS

She’s been breaking records left and right since she started performing, but now singer and songwriter Taylor Swift has broken a new record.

Swift broke Barbara Streisand’s record for the female artist with the most number-one albums with the release of Speak Now (Taylor’s Version).

Swift broke Streisand’s record of 11 albums.

The original album, Speak Now, was originally released in 2010, but the American is in the process of re-recording all her albums where the rights were bought by Scooter Braun.

Speak Now (Taylor’s Version) is a re-recording of all the original songs on the original album as well as two bonus songs. The new version was released on 7 July.

The record for the most number-one albums belongs to The Beatles with 19 albums.

Second in line is Jay-Z. The rapper who is also Beyonce’s husband, holds the record with 14 number-one albums.

Drake is tied with Swift in third place with 12 number-one albums.

Swift is currently touring the world with her Eras tour. The tour consists of 102 shows across five continents.
