AFCON QUARTER-FINALS KICK OFF
The AFCON 2025 quarter-finals start today, and the stakes couldn’t be higher. Eight teams remain. Only four will survive.
The action begins with Mali vs Senegal, a fierce West African derby that promises grit, muscle, and very little space. There won’t be room for mistakes.
Later today, hosts Morocco face Cameroon in a heavyweight clash dripping with history. While Morocco carry home pressure, Cameroon bring pedigree and belief.
Saturday turns the volume up even higher. Algeria meet Nigeria in one of the tournament’s standout fixtures. Later, Egypt take on Côte d’Ivoire in a classic showdown between two former champions who know exactly how to win when it matters.
This isn’t just a quarter-final lineup, it’s a roll call of royalty. Between the remaining teams, there are 22 AFCON titles on the table. Egypt led the way with seven, Cameroon have five, Côte d’Ivoire, Algeria, and others have all lifted the trophy before.
The road to the final starts now.
