‘FINAL’ BEATLES SONG TO BE RELEASED THANKS TO AI
No, it’s not a flashback or an old story, it’s a brand-new story with a twist.
Sit Paul McCartney has announced that the “last” ever Beatles song will be released thanks to the help of artificial intelligence (AI).
McCartney explained to BBC Radio that through AI they were able to extricate John Lennon’s voice “from a ropey little bit of cassette where it had John’s voice and a piano”.
The Beatles member shared his amazement at how AI was able to differentiate between the guitar and Lennon’s voice.
“They tell the machine ‘that’s a voice, this is a guitar, lose the guitar’. And he did that.”
Although McCartney didn’t reveal the title of the song, the BBC reports that it’s likely to be a song composed by Lennon in 1978 called “Now And Then”.
McCartney commented on the release of the ‘final’ Beatles song after some fans asked him about it on his website.
McCartney is the only remaining member of arguably the world’s most famous band. The band consisted of McCartney, Lennon, Ringo Starr and George Harrison.
