JOHN ANISTON DIES
Days of our Lives star John Aniston has died. He was 78.
John portrayed the role of Vitor Kiriakis in the daytime soap Days of our Lives for 37 years.
The American actor’s daughter, Friends star Jennifer Aniston, posted a moving tribute to her late father on her Instagram page.
“I am so grateful that you went soaring into the heavens in peace – and without pain. And on 11/11 no less! You always had perfect timing. That number will forever hold an even greater meaning for me now.”
The caption was part of a post combined with a series of photos of her with her dad.
“You were one of the most beautiful humans I ever met. I’ll love you till the end of time. Don’t forget to visit.”
Only five months ago, 53-year-old Jennifer honoured her dad during the Daytime Emmys. At this year’s award ceremony, John received the Lifetime Achievement Award.
“It’s an opportunity not only to pay tribute to a true icon in the daytime television world, but it’s also a chance to recognise the life-long achievement of a great and well-respected actor. Who also happens to be my dad.”
