From rising stars to stalwart veterans, the league’s transfer window has plenty of chatter, and it’s all building momentum ahead of the season kick-off in Riyadh on February 4.
One of the headline grabs comes from Dustin Johnson, who’s reaffirmed his commitment to 4Aces GC by signing a multi-year extension and announcing a new addition to the squad.
Belgian standout Thomas Detry, fresh off a breakthrough win at the 2025 WM Phoenix Open, will join Johnson and his teammates, giving 4Aces another capable competitor ready to go after honours this season.
Johnson’s extension signals that even amid swirling talk about player movements, some big names are doubling down on LIV Golf.
Ripper GC, the all-Australian outfit led by Cam Smith, has made a splash by confirming Elvis Smylie as its newest signing.
The 23-year-old, who claimed the 2024 Australian PGA Championship, slots in alongside captain Smith, Marc Leishman and Lucas Herbert, replacing Matt Jones on the roster.
Byeong Hun An, a former PGA Tour competitor, has signed on and been named captain of the Korean Golf Club (formerly Iron Heads GC).
Fans will get their first taste of the action in early February as the league tees off once again.
