RAGING BULL INTERRUPTS RUGBY MATCH IN FRANCE

A bull broke free of its handler at a rugby league match in France, creating havoc.

The match took place at the Gilbert Brutus stadium in Perpignan on Friday between the Catalans Dragons and St Helens.

The bull was next to the field as part of an exhibition to honour local breeding in the area and promote the meat business held by the club’s chairman, Bernard Guasch.

The match was broadcasted on local television and cameras showed the bull dragging the handler along the ground as it ran onto the field.

The players dropped whatever they were busy with and ran for cover. Some of the players jumped over the barriers into the crowd to escape the bull.

After about 30 seconds of mayhem, the bull ran back to its handlers.

Luckily, no human or animal was harmed, and the match could proceed without any other upsets. The Catalan Dragons won the match 24-12 after being behind with 12 points during the first half.
