JAMES CORDEN ENDS HIS LATE LATE SHOW STINT
English actor James Corden has bid farewell to his role as the host of the The Late Late Show.
To make sure it’s a memorable experience, Corden started his traditional monologue in the stairwell of the studio instead of the main stage.
When he arrived on Stage, Corden told the audience that it was an “emotional time” for him as they were getting ready to film “the final Late Late Show in the history of CBS”.
His guests for the evening were singer and former 1Direction member Harry Styles, as well as American actor Will Ferrell.
One of the sketches featured in the final episode included fellow late-night hosts Jimmy Fallon, Jimmy Kimmel, Seth Meyers and Stephen Colbert. The group was also joined by fellow Late Show host David Letterman.
For the final Carpool Karaoke insert he was joined by fellow Brit and friend, singer Adele.
The comedian signed off the very last episode by singing “Thanks for watching, that’s our show”.
Corden made a name for himself as a comedian when he starred as Gavin in the British sitcom Gavin & Stacey. He moved his family over to the United States eight years ago when he got the job hosting The Late Late Show.
