The Fast and Furious movie franchise brought us a lot of awesome things. From great movies to great actors and even greater cars. Petrolheads and average Joes all fell in love with the movies and are still flocking to the cinemas when the latest movies are released.
In the fourth installation of the movie series, Paul Walker can be seen driving a Nissan R34 GT-R. Now, that same car is up for auction in Germany.
According to the auction house, Bonhams, the car personally specced by Walker himself for the movie.
News24 reports that a vehicle like this is absolutely priceless to any fan or petrolhead who knows what the R34 Skyline is all about – it is one of the greatest Japanese cars of all time. Starting bids start at a cool 500,000 euros, equating to an estimated R9.9 million.
This specific model comes from the final batch of the renowned straight-six engine and was built up by Kaizo Industries. The Nissan Skyline R34 GT-R was known as Godzilla and was produced from 1999 to 2002.
Some of the modifications personalised by Walker include a custom-built roll cage, rear seat delete, nismo lowering springs, turbonetics front-mount intercooler, and a custom head-up display for a dashboard mounted monitor.
