LUKE DALE OPENS SALON RESTAURANT

Celebrated SA chef Luke Dale has announced the opening of his new restaurant, SALON in Cape Town.

The latest addition to his restaurant group will open at the end of April at the Silo building in Old Biscuit Mill in Woodstock.

The Journey menu at SALON will take guests on a trip to every country that Dale has worked in. It features his evolution as a chef and celebrates his influences along the way.

Guests can enjoy the nine courses offered by the menu at a price of R1,100 per person. There’s also a condensed version of that menu available. The Explorer features four courses and is available at R550 per person.

Dale isn’t new to the restaurant business in South Africa. At last year’s 2022 Eat Out Woolworths Restaurant Awards, both his Cape Town restaurants, The Pot Luck Club and The Test Kitchen Fledgelings, as well as The Shortmarket Club in Johannesburg won Eat Out stars.

The menus at SALON are every foodie’s dream. Dale credited Head Development Chef Carla Schulze for her instrumental role in creating the experience.
