RUPERT MURDOC MARRIES FOR FIFTH TIME AT 93
Australian-born media mogul Rupert Murdoc has tied the knot for a fifth time. The ceremony took place at his vineyard in California.
The 83-year-old married a retired Russian biologist Elena Zhukova.
Murdoc has six children from his previous weddings and is the chairman emeritus of News Corporation.
News Corporation is the parent company of Fox News, the Wall Street Journal, the Sun and the Times. Murdoc stepped down as the chairman of Fox and News Corp in 2023. He left his son Lachlan as head of both companies.
He met Zhukova at a party hosted by Chinese-born entrepreneur Wendi Deng, one of Murdoch’s ex-wives.
Zhukova is the former wife of Russian oil billionaire Alexander Zhukova. Their daughter Dasha was married to the Russian oligarch and former Chelsea Football Club owner Roman Abramovich until they divorced in 2017.
Murdoch was also married to Patricia Booker, an Australian flight attendant, Anna Mann, a Scottish-born journalist, and Jerry Hall, a US model and actress who was also formerly married to Rolling Stones lead singer Mick Jagger.
Murdoch launched Fox News in 1996. It’s the most-watched TV news channel in the United States.
