STER KINEKOR SHOWING OLD MOVIES FOR R50

If you get that nostalgic feeling when you think of old movies and how much fun it was going to the cinemas to experience them on a big screen, you’ll love Ster Kinekor’s idea.

The campaign was first launched in May and has been running for two months. It’s been very successful and based on the results, Ster Kinekor has decided to continue for another month.

During May and June, old blockbusters like Back to the Future, Notting Hill, and Chicago were screened for only R50 a ticket.

In July, you’ll be able to watch other movies like The Mummy Returns, Pretty Woman, Braveheart, and Steel Magnolias.

Ster-Kinekor’s chief marketing officer Lynne Wylie said it’s a way for customers to enjoy classic movies at affordable prices.

“Throwback Cinema allows us to bring back some timeless films for our customers to relive and enjoy once again at a very affordable ticket price.”

Mel Gibson’s Braveheart will be released on 5 July, Steel Magnolias on the 12th, The Mummy Returns on the 19th, and you can catch Pretty Woman on the 26th.

Tickets for all shows will cost R50.
