ACTRESS KELLY PRESTON LOSES BATTLE WITH CANCER
The American actress, Kelly Preston, passed away on Sunday. She was 57.
In a statement released by her husband, John Travolta, he announced that his wife has lost her two-year battle with breast cancer.
“She fought a courageous fight with the love and support of so many. Kelly’s love and life will always be remembered.”
Preston appeared in several TV series and movies over the years, including Twins and Jerry Maguire.
Tributes have been pouring in following Travolta’s announcement on Twitter.
The actor, Alec Baldwin, said in an Instagram post, “she remains one of the loveliest people I have ever worked with. Funny. Kind. My heart goes out to John and their family.”
In 2009, their son Jett died from a seizure at the age of 16.
Preston is survived by her husband of 28 years and their two children.
