BIDEN CHARTERS OWN PLANE AS TRUMP REFUSES TO OFFER AIRFORCE ONE

Seen as an act of welcoming the new president into office, the outgoing President of the United States usually offers to fly the President Elect on Air Force One to get to the official inauguration.

With Joe Biden’s inauguration happening today, Donald Trump reportedly refused to offer the presidential Air Force One jet. Instead, Biden had to charter his own plane to get there.

The Daily Mail reports that when the private chartered plane landed at Join Base Andrews, it actually taxied past an idle air force Boeing 757 on the tarmac.

Rumours have been doing the rounds that Trump and his family won’t be attending Biden’s inauguration today, but has chosen to have his own farewell before heading off to his Mar-a-Lago estate in Florida.

The estate is 20 acres in size and has 128 rooms including a ballroom, five clay tennis courts and a waterfront pool. Trump has his own private and secluded section on the resort estate, known as the second-largest mansion in the state of Florida.

Trump has also released a 20-minute long video of him saying goodbye to the people of America with no mention of Biden or any word of congratulations.

Biden’s inauguration takes place today in Washington D.C.
