BIDEN’S FANCY EXERCISE BIKE IS A WHITE HOUSE SECURITY NIGHTMARE
With the Bidens moving into the White House, it looks like two of their favourite items won't be able to make the cut.
Both Joe and Jill Biden are big fans of the interactive stationary bike called the Peloton. The bike includes a microphone and a camera, a massive security threat if you’re the President of the United States.
The New York Times reports that Biden's Peloton would be an obvious target for foreign adversaries to hack into in order to glean top-secret information. To prevent such a breach, Biden will either have to forgo his favourite workout regimen or allow National Security Agency and Secret Service representatives to doctor the bike considerably.
With millions of Americans forced to stay indoors during the pandemic, the sales of the Peloton bikes have increased significantly. On-demand classes and outdoor simulation rides are available through the monitor. While Biden might be able to get away with riding the stationary bike every now and again, he probably won't be allowed to talk to anyone about serious or important stuff as it could be hacked.
Other celebs known for being big fans of the Peloton bikes include none other than former first lady Michelle Obama and actor, Leonardo DiCaprio.
