BILL CLINTON HOSPITALISED FOR BLOOD INFECTION

Former US President Bill Clinton has been discharged from a hospital in Los Angeles.

He was discharged on Sunday from the UC Irvine Medical Center. The 75-year-old’s wife Hilary walked out of the hospital with him as they greeted the doctors and waved to the cameras.

Doctor Alpesh Amin, the doctor who oversaw the team treating Clinton, released a statement regarding the situation and current condition.

“His fever and white blood cell count are normalised and he will return home to New York to finish his course of antibiotics.”

The Clintons returned to their home in New York where the former President will continue with his antibiotics.

The New York Times, quoting an aide, reported Clinton developed a urinary tract infection that turned into sepsis. He was admitted on Tuesday.
