BOOK TO SHOW PRINCE ANDREW’S DARK SIDE
A biography of Prince Andrew is expected to show the dark side of one of the members of the British royal family.
The book is titled Entitled: The Rise and Fall of the House of York and is written by Andrew Lownie.
The book depicts Prince Andrew as arrogant and maps out his links to convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.
This isn’t the first time that Lownie has written books that have changed the reputations of well-known figures. Lownie famously established the Nazi intrigues around one of Prince Andrew’s great uncles, the Duke of Windsor.
The BBC reports that in the case of Entitled, he hasn't so much cemented Prince Andrew's reputation as put it in concrete boots and thrown it in the river. It is hard to see how he might come back from this.
The more than 450 pages reveal things like Sir Elton John and comedian Billy Connolly attending Prince Andrew’s bachelor party, and notorious film-maker Woody Allen attending a dinner with Prince Andrew at Epstein’s house.
Entitled: The Rise and Fall of the House of York will be published by William Collins on 14 August.
