If you’re thinking of getting serious about social distancing, then there’s an island in Knysna with your name on it. That’s if you’ve got about R20 million to spend.

News24 reports that Num Num is one of six individual islands that form part of the state-of-the-art Thesen Island marina complex, with its own beach and clubhouse, on the Garden Route.

The island is completely surrounded by water so, while loud neighbours or uninvited guests might not be a problem, you can only get to the island via a private causeway.

ReMax has listed Num Num at a price of R19,990 000. According to the ReMax website, the house is 637m², consists of three en-suite bedrooms downstairs, a master suite upstairs and a self-contained apartment on top of the garage – ideal for guests.

All the rooms have water views with aircon and underfloor heating.

Thesen Island boasts its own tennis, squash and putting golf course, with walkways, cycling routes and all forms of watersports.
