CASSIE VENTURA TESTIFIES IN DIDDY TRIAL

R&B singer Cassandra “Cassie” Ventura took the witness stand in the trial against her former boyfriend Sean “Diddy” Combs.

Combs is accused of racketeering, sex trafficking and transportation to engage in prostitution.

While on the witness stand, Cassie said she was forced to take part in drug-fueled sex encounters and abuse during the 10 years she dated the rapper.

Cassie, who is eight months pregnant, said Diddy controlled all aspects of her life when he signed her to his record label and started dating her.

He often forced her to have sex with male escorts while he sat in the corner of the room watching or recording the ordeal. She said there were “hundreds” of these types of encounters.

If she wanted to leave him, Diddy would often threaten to release the tapes to the public. He once watched one of the videos on his laptop on a commercial flight to punish her.

The video of Cassie being beaten in a hotel lobby has gone viral over the last year. Cassie told prosecutors that she was trying to escape one of the drug-fuelled sex encounters that would usually go on for four days.

She also, visibly traumatised, said she would be forced to take drugs so that she could stay awake during these moments.

It’s not clear who will take the witness stand as the trial continues in Manhattan, New York, on Monday.
