CHRIS BROWN APOLOGISES AFTER GRAMMY REACTION
Singer Chris Brown took to social media to apologise to Robert Glasper for taking his frustration over losing on him.
Glasper won Best R&B Album at the Grammys on Sunday. His album Black Radio III beat his fellow nominees including Mary J. Blige’s Good Morning Gorgeous, Chris Brown’s Breezy.
Brown, not impressed with the loss, shared an image of Glasper on his Instagram stories and wrote:
“Y’all playing. Who da f&*k is this? I’ma keep kicking y’ll ass respectfully.”
Another story also took aim at Glasper.
“I gotta get my skills up. Ima start playing the harmonica.”
Brown faced major backlash for being a sad loser and ended up apologising to Glasper with a DM.
“Congratulations my brother… I would like to apologise if you took offense to my reaction at the Grammys. You were not the intended target and I know I came off really rude and mean. After doing my research I actually think you’re amazing… The organisation isn’t doing us Blacks our due diligence. You and I should never be in the same category… two totally different vibes and genres.”
Brown ended off his apology by congratulation Glasper.
“So from one Black man to another… Congratulations. Hope you are able to feed your family for life. God bless my G.”
