DOUBLE PROPOSAL AT DISNEYLAND GETS RIDICULED ON SOCIAL MEDIA
A photo of a man proposing to his girlfriend at Sleeping Beauty's castle in Disneyland, California, has been making its rounds on social media and being called out as "unoriginal" and "cheesy".
This is because of a particular detail viewers spotted in the background where another couple was also getting engaged.
Although some partners like to keep is simple and intimate, there are a number of people out there whose idea of the perfect proposal involves their partner getting down on one knee in front of a Disney castle.
Disneyland and Disneyworld are known for the regular proposals, which happens so often that visitors are getting sick of it.
One viewer commented "If you're gonna get engaged at Disney at least pick somewhere not so common lol."
It is not clear when the picture was taken. However it was recently shared in the Facebook group, That's It I'm Proposal Shaming. More than 2,000 people have reacted to the picture of the double proposal so far.
One viewer even wrote that; "When you get the prime spot so the guy at the back has to propose by a bench."
Another comment read that; "If someone else is proposing in the same area as you at the exact same time as you, that's your clue that your idea is completely unoriginal."
Another man's proposal recently sparked fire on social media after he used an advert for cheap McDonald's drinks, by just adding green graffiti to the billboard, writing 'Courtney will you marry me?'
Well that is more unique than Disneyland, don't you think? But even this proposal had the viewers frustrated as they pointed out the flaws. The words were very hard to read and are almost lost against the background of a Dr Pepper and McCafe iced coffee. Even this proposal gesture was branded 'unimaginative' by social media users.
