DSTV NOW OFFERS A STREAMING SERVICE, NO DECODER REQUIRED

DStv now offers its services without the need to purchase and install a decoder or dish. All you need is a device connected to a stable, fast internet connection.

As technology marches forward, many South African's are connected to the internet in one way or another. To harness this tech, DStv has announced DStv streaming, allowing subscribers to access their favourite content via a connected device, like a mobile phone, tablet or Smart TV.

There are currently six packages on offer; DStv Premium, DStv Compact Plus, DStv Compact, DStv Family, DStv Access and DStv EasyView. Streaming subscribers also have access to Catch Up, Showmax and Box Office, the latter two at extra cost.

Each subscription allows up to four connected devices, with a maximum of two streaming concurrently.

MultiChoice South Africa CEO Nyiko Shiburi says, "We are led by our customers' evolving viewing habits and how and when they choose to access our content. The option to use the internet to consume content speaks to how DStv continues to diversify its offerings with a clear intention to drive value and convenience for our customers."
