ELLIOT PAGE FILES FOR DIVORCE
American actor, Elliot Page, has filed for divorce from her wife of three years, Emma Portner.
According to E! News, court papers revealed that the actor filed the papers on the 26th of January in New York.
A statement published by the couple said that they have been separated since 2020 and have decided to divorce.
The news comes just months after Elliot made headlines when he came out as transgender a few months ago. Back then Emma shared Elliot's post saying "Elliot's existence is a gift in and of itself. Shine on sweet E. Love you so much."
Elliot, who currently stars in the Netflix drama The Umbrella Academy, was nominated for an Oscar for his role in the 2007 movie Juno.
Portner is a dancer and choreographer from Canada.
