ELON MUSK GIVES AWAY $1 MILLION A DAY

He’s made a promise and he’s sticking to his guns. Elon Musk has given away the first $1 million that he’s promised to anyone who signs his online petition.

His petition aims to show support for the US Constitution, it says: The First and Second Amendments guarantee freedom of speech and the right to bear arms. By signing below, I am pledging my support for the First and Second Amendments.

The first $1 million cheque was given to a person who attended his event held in Pennsylvania. Musk, an outspoken supporter of former President Donald Trump held the event to rally support for the Republican presidential candidate.

The winner, a man named John Dreher, was caught by surprise when he was called on stage to accept the cheque.

As the Tesla founder handed Dreher the cheque, Musk said: “By the way, John had no idea. So anyway, you’re welcome.”

The offer to give the money away is a pledge that Musk has promised to keep up until the United States election in November.

It’s estimated that South African-born Musk has so far donated an estimated $75 million to back Trump and the Republican Party.
