JIMI HENDRIX ITEMS TO GO ON AUCTION

Several exclusive, never-before-seen, or heard items belonging to Jimi Hendrix are about to go up for auction.

The auction will take place in London on 15 November and will be hosted online by Propstore.

This will be the first time that fans will be able to buy items belonging to the late musician on auction.

A representative for Propstore said it’s an incredible collection.

“When we first had the opportunity to explore this archive, we were immediately captivated by the depth and significance of the material. It’s an incredible collection that not only reflects the personal life of Jimi Hendrix but also transports you back to a pivotal moment in music history.”

Among the exclusive items are 50 rare tapes that include master recordings with unheard tracks. Other items include personal paperwork like payslips for him and his bandmates, dry-cleaning bills, tour itineraries, and a handwritten form in which he requests his birth certificate.

Items from other artists like John Lennon, Arctic Moneys, Queen, Michael Jackson, and Oasis will also go up for auction.

CNN reports that Hendrix’s active career as an artist only lasted four years, taking him off in the late 1960s before his death from an overdose at the age of 27 in 1970.
