LEBRON AND BRONNY MAKE NBA HISTORY
It’s not every day that a father and son combo can represent their teams in professional sports at the same time.
But, basketball superstars LeBron James and Bronny James recently made the NBA history books when they became the first father-son duo to play together on the same team.
The BBC reports that never before had a father and son played in an NBA game of any type – including pre-season- at the same time.
The game took place in Los Angeles during the LA Lakers’ pre-season game against rivals the Phoenix Suns.
This is the first year that Bronny has played for the LA Lakers and he played his first game on his 20th birthday.
Following the match, LeBron took to X to share his feelings, saying “Wow that was unreal”.
During a post-match interview with reporters, LeBron said the moment felt surreal.
“We came out of a timeout and we kind of stood next to each other. I kind of looked at him. It was like being in The Matrix or something. It just didn’t feel real. But it was great to have those moments.”
