100 COUPLES GET MARRIED IN ONE DAY

Old Marylebone Town Hall in London was the venue for 100 wedding ceremonies that took place over 14 hours.

The special occasion was celebrated by this one-in-a-hundred offer for 100 couples to get married on the same day.

The first wedding took place at 08:00 and soon ceremony after ceremony took place. While most of the couples were getting married for the first time, several couples were already married but too the opportunity to renew their vows.

Included in the tiny bridal parties who were allowed to attend were several kids and dogs. The second last couple of the day were accompanied by their three pugs who were also dressed up for the very special occasion.

Because couples weren’t allowed to invite many people as their witnesses, the entire day and all 100 weddings were live-streamed on several websites. This meant that family and friends from far away were still able to attend, albeit virtually.

The last couple got hitched at 22:27 and got a massive cheer afterwards.

Although couples might have had to share their special day with 99 other couples, it’ll always be a day to remember.
