FREE WIMPY COFFEE FOR THOSE VACCINATED

If you were still looking for a reason to get vaccinated, this might be it. Show Wimpy proof that you’ve been vaccinated and they’ll give you a cup of coffee for free.

As with most things in life, there are some terms and conditions attached. You have to take your vaccination card with you, you actually have to be there in person so you can’t send someone else to get your coffee for you, it has to be done within 48 hours of getting your injection, you can only get a cup of filter coffee and you can claim only once.

Wimpy is the first South African company to put themselves out there and publicly encourage South Africans to get vaccinated by rewarding them.

In the US, Americans have been offered free beer, doughnuts, hot dogs and cheesecake from names such as Budweiser and Krispy Kreme, and states are offering lotteries with big cash prizes, reports Business Insider.

The British government will soon be offering free pizza and movies to those who get vaccinated.

With this reward system in place, Wimpy challenged other South African businesses to get their reward systems going as well.
