GIRLS ALOUD SINGER SARAH HARDING DIES

One of Britain’s favourite girl band members, Sarah Harding has died from breast cancer.

The Girls Aloud singer’s mom, Marie announced her death on Sunday through a post on the singer’s social media accounts.

“I know she won’t want to be remembered for her fight against this terrible disease – she was a bright shining star and I hope that’s how she can be remembered instead,” the post said.

It was only a year ago that the 39-year-old announced on social media that she had been diagnosed with breast cancer.

The Pop Star winner was one of the first band members to have been chosen for Girls Aloud. The reality series not only kicked off her career as a singer but also as an actress. Sarah had a role in the popular British soap Coronation Street.

Tributes have been pouring in as other celebrities, fellow band members and fans heard of the shocking news.
